Consulting opportunities

I am an experienced professional with skills in communication, marketing, research, strategy and relationship management. An adept storyteller, I am passionate about our history, particularly the stories that are missing.

I am looking for projects that involve exploring your organisation’s history/whakapapa and understanding what belonging means for you.

For my full work experience, please see my LinkedIn profile or email me for my CV.

PhD research

I recently completed my PhD at Massey University in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Inspired by my own experiences in sport, my research looks at historical barriers to equity, exploring attitudes to diversity, women’s experiences, and feelings of belonging in regional sports organisations and clubs. To address these issues and help improve things, I developed a holistic framework, Te Poukapa: The Equity and Belonging Matrix.

My thesis is available here.

Massey University wrote a profile and summary of my research, which you can read here.
